Summer Fun

 Summer is in full effect around here, and we are taking advantage!  I love the flexibility and lack of schedule that comes with summer.  No MDO or scheduled activities means lazy mornings, lots of pool and splash park time, and late nights playing outside.  Griffin has been in swim lessons since February and is now an official swimmer.  He is a FISH and asks every morning what pool we are going to that day!  Ha.  One Sunday we took him to the Houstonian to swim and he swam 4 hours straight and did the water slide probably 200 times!  Ella LOVES the water too.  She wears her puddle jumper and kicks her feet to take her where ever she wants to go.  Miss Independent does not want help and even went down the water slide all by herself!!!!  Jason and I love the water, and we are so happy our kids share that love as well.  I'm sure by the end of summer we will all be completely water logged!

Take me out to the ballgame...

I'm WAY behind on my blog but I finally downloaded all my iphone pictures and I'm going to attempt to catch up, or at least pick up from where I left off!  This spring, Griffin played his first season of T ball.  He was on the Orioles with his best buddy RJ.  It was the cutest thing I think I've ever seen, and we had a lot of great laughs too!  Griff really enjoyed the games and did a great job hitting the ball and fielding.  We were SO proud of him!!!

 All geared up for his first game. Daddy took him to Academy and probably went a little overboard on all the gear.  Jason loved playing baseball through high school so this was especially fun for him!

 Griffin was talking to Coach Cliff and later the coach told us Griffin told him, "You know I'm like a famous baseball player...like I'm on TV"!  Ha

 Little Miss Ella didn't want to miss out on anything and was not too happy when she couldn't be on the team!
