The Very Best Part of Vacation

The best part of vacation was going to dinner and not having to worry about a sitter...

and waking up to this beautiful view each morning...

The best part was spending time alone together...

and trying to catch the big one...

and enjoying the ocean and walking the beach...

and soaking up the sun...

BUT...the VERY best part of our vacation was coming home (rested and relaxed) to this CUTIE PATOOTIE!!!

Blame it on Mexico!

This time tomorrow Jason and I will be sipping margaritas by the pool in Playa Del Carmen!!! AHHH I can't wait for this much needed vacation with my hubby!

Where have we been?

We've had a busy past few weeks. Let's see....

All this action has left us a little lazy...

Should have known...

I should have known things were too quiet. Yesterday I was cooking dinner and Griffin was in the backyard "playing"...I should have known. But I was enjoying a few minutes alone getting a good start on dinner...I should have known. My sweet Griffin Bear was digging all the dirt out of my pot! What can I say, he's all boy and I should have known!

Easter!

We had such a wonderful Easter! We went to San Antonio to visit Conner, Leslie, Carson, and Lyndon! Griffin had a great time with his cousins. They are getting so big and are just adorable. I may be biased, but they are REALLY good babies! On Saturday we went to an Easter party and Griff got to see the Easter bunny again, which he loved. He also had two egg hunts and we went to church on Sunday. He lasted about 15 minutes in church...oh well that's what nurseries are for right? We drove back Sunday and went to Jason's Aunt and Uncle's for more Easter fun. Griffin got to hunt eggs with all the kids and had a blast!
