Almost Famous...

Griffin's Gigi sent his pumpkin picture into Channel 2 News, and this past Saturday Griffin was on the morning news!!! It was so exciting to see him, and I know Ginger was thrilled because she used to work at the station. Thanks Gi for making Griff almost famous!

8 months old

I know I say this every time...but REALLY...how can my sweet little boy already be 8 months old?! Griffin is really growing. He now weighs 21 lbs 12 oz and he's 27" tall. He's grown over an inch since we measured him three weeks ago! I guess that explains the three hour naps and endless appetite lately. Here are a few things Griffin's in to lately:

- loves his new playroom we made for him with all his toys! We love it too cause it means no more toys in the living room!

- Still doing the army/inch worm crawl but getting much faster

- LOVES to practice walking with us holding his arms...very hard on mom's back though

- He's pretty much into everything!

- Has four teeth, two top and two bottom...three more coming in

- LOVES to play in Jeter's water bowl...YUCK! So we sometimes give him a pan of water to play in and he loves that (see pic).

- likes to snuggle before naps and bedtime

- so happy when he wakes up, kicks his legs and gives us a giggle

- loves to eat finger foods and is starting to eat small bites of whatever we are having for dinner (so much easier)

- his favorite baby food is a mixture I made of cherries, blueberries, and pears

- such a sweet and happy baby, but has had some separation anxiety lately mostly when I leave him at the gym nursery. It's really sweet, but momma needs a break sometimes. :)

We just love our Griffin Bear so much and are enjoying each every day we spend with him. He's been such a blessing and fulfillment in our lives and we are so thankful!

Yesterday, we took Griffin to his Halloween carnival at Little Gym. It was so cute to see all the babies dressed up! Griffin was a big green dinosaur and his friend RJ was a spider. They kept staring at each others costume, and it had us all cracking up. What a fun time of year!

Dewberry Farm

The moms group I am in had a play date at a place called Dewberry Farms last week. It was the cutest place and we had a great time! First we went on a hay ride to go pick out our pumpkins. It was pretty hot, dirty, and windy out in the pumpkin patch, but we made the best of it, and Griffin loved his little pumpkin. Then we had a picnic lunch, and went to the petting zoo. It was such a cute place and we had a fun day! Added bonus...Griffin was wiped out!

Little Gym

Griffin has been going to Little Gym for a little over 2 months now, and he really enjoys it. It's fun to see him interact with the other babies, and the moms in our group are fun too!

Precious Pumpkin

Fall is my favorite time of year, I just love the football, cooler weather (although it has yet to come here), and of course the pumpkins! I couldn't resist buying a big ole pumpkin, carving it out, and taking tons of pictures of the MOST precious pumpkin inside!

Whoop!

Yes, I realize we lost yesterday, but I couldn't resist taking some picks of my little Aggie in his jersey! We had some friends over to watch the game and the little boys had fun playing while the big boys manned the grill and watched the game. Stinks that we lost, but it was a fun night anyway!
