Rockport

Warning: this post is better late than never! Two weekends ago my whole family went to Rockport for the weekend. Griffin was so excited all week for his first trip to the beach. He kept saying, "First we get doughnuts (ha!), then we swim in the waves, then we fly the kite, and THEN we build sand castles." That pretty much sums up our weekend, except we also had lots of fun just being together as a family: eating tons of yummy food, playing farkle, drinking wine, loving on babies, and relaxing. Conner and I were so blessed growing up to have Luke and Hallie as our only cousins. We are really more like brothers and sisters. We all sat out in the yard and watched the newest crop of cousins play together and it was the best feeling!
This little boy LOVES his daddy! They had so much fun swimming in the waves.
Lyndon and Griffin love digging in the ice chests
Leslie and the buddies! I love my sister in law!
Lyndon loved throwing and catching the duckie

Griffin couldn't wait for Pops to get there so he could take him WAY out in the big waves.
Beach bum
Mimi and sweet Ella
First time in the ocean

Lots of sprinkler fun
Ella loved all the special attention from Hallie
And Mimi
Love my sweet Aunt Annie! I have so many wonderful memories of creative and imaginative activities she would do with us every summer when we stayed at her house. I love seeing Griff get to experience it too!
All the girls! So blessed to be surrounded by such loving, caring, selfless, women who know how to have a GOOD time! :)
