18 Months...well plus a week!

This pretty much sums Griffin up right now...all boy and on the move!
Love this sweet one!

I know I always say this, but how can my sweet little boy be 18 months old?! I LOVE the stage Griffin's at right now. He's like a little sponge soaking everything in, and he amazes me with the things he learns, picks up, and remembers. We just got back from a week in Colorado (these pics are from the trip and a post on that coming soon), and Griffin had a blast. He had a week full of lots of daddy time and he has since become such a daddies boy! I'm loving it and I know Jason is too! Here are some things Griffin is up to now:
- Added many new words this month to his vocab (ball, moon, bye bye, lots of animal sounds, water, apple, ding, and has picked up lots of new sign language too) It's getting easier to figure out what he wants :)
- Still a great sleeper and loves his bed
- LOVES any kind of ball- my mom bought him a little basketball in Colorado and he has played with it non stop ever since
- Such a water baby and can now blow bubbles underwater
- Not really a fan of sand boxes
- Loves to find the moon at night
- Infatuated with fire and smoke alarms...weird but he can spot them a mile away and makes a siren noise when he sees them
- Starts mother's day out the week after labor day!!! His school is at our church, and he will go two days a week. So excited and nervous for this new step!
- RUNS everywhere now, can march, turn around, walk backwards, and jump too
- Starting to throw some little tantrums especially when we won't let him play in our cars, he loves to pretend drive but it's just too hot!
- When we ask him where the baby is he will point to my belly and rub it or give kisses (yes, I know he has no real clue there's a baby in there but it's still really sweet)
We are so in love with our sweet Griffin Bear and we can't wait to see what the next month holds for our little one. We are so thankful for the daily joys and blessings he brings to our lives!
