Halloween 2012

We had a great time this Halloween season.  Jason and I were in Vegas the weekend before, so we missed out on some of the festivities.  Mimi and Pops were here to keep the kids and they took them to Dewberry Farms and to our neighborhood party at the park.  A great time was had by all and I'm sure my parents were ready for a vacation when they left!
We carved our pumpkins on Monday night and the kids had a blast.  Griffin helped Jason design the faces and he had lots of "creative" suggestions.  One was suppose to be a vampire and the other needed a mustache..ha!  Daddy did a great job on both.
For Halloween night, we had Jason's family over for dinner and we all went trick or treating together. Griffin wanted to be Captain America and helped me pick out Ella's costume, Wonder Woman.  They looked adorable!  Our neighborhood has tons of young kids so we saw lots of friends and had a blast.  Griffin was totally into it this year and Ella was happy to follow along.  She LOVED seeing the candy in her pumpkin and the only time she fussed was when someone tried to take her pink pumpkin from her.  So cute!  We went back to the house when we were done and Griffin waited by the door to pass out candy to the few remaining trick or treaters.  He loved seeing the other kids dressed up and Ella thought it was hilarious to wave and say "Hi" to them!  All in all Halloween was a huge success!

 Don't mind Jason's outfit...ha!

My two super heroes ready to knock on some doors!

Ella seemed like such a big girl to me!

Jack wasn't too sure about all those crazy trick or treaters but had fun playing with all the candy when we got back home!

The picture below shows Ella's reaction when Daddy took her pink pumpkin away so we could see her face!  Haha
